AK-48 is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain. 65% Indica and 35% Sativa. A cross between Ice and Jock Horror. Despite it being indica dominant, the high leans definitely towards the sativa side of the spectrum. AK-48 is known for dense buds and fast flowering with an exceptional aroma. A part of the name came from the length of days it takes to bloom, 48 days. This is a good quality strain for a beginner. It has the smell and flavor of grapefruit. It is highly recommended for those who have anxiety and appetite stimulation.

AK-48 is a hybrid strain but the effects are sativa. This was recommended to me because I'm new to medical marijuana. I was using this to help relieve me of migraines. When I used it the first time, I started to feel different. At first, I couldn't help but smile and then I started to focus. My recommendation, despite it being indica dominant, I suggest you smoke it during the day.
